Remarks

A solid black border or a clean fade into the side of a page will be cropped. As is typical with scanned images. If there is noise or texture on the side of the page or mixed in with the border it will not be cropped. This function differentiates whether to crop or not based on the texture of the border. If the border has texture or excessive noise this function is not able to differentiate this from potential image or text information.

If the image does not have borders it will return a clone of the original image.

The following code crops the borders on the current image in the viewer control.
      DTI.ImageMan.Commands.CropBorderCommand crop = new DTI.ImageMan.Commands.CropBorderCommand();
        viewer1.Images.CurrentImage = crop.Process(viewer1.Images.CurrentImage);

Example

The following code crops the borders on the current image in the viewer control.
C#Copy Code
DTI.ImageMan.Commands.CropBorderCommand crop = new DTI.ImageMan.Commands.CropBorderCommand();
viewer1.Images.CurrentImage = crop.Process(viewer1.Images.CurrentImage);
