Image To Process

Return Value

Modifies Image passed in

Modify the color values of the source image using the Gamma adjust value. The acceptable range is from 10 to 50.

Gamma correction is used in displaying an image accurately. Gamma correction controls the overall brightness of an image. Images which are not properly corrected can look either bleached out, or too dark. Trying to reproduce colors accurately also requires some knowledge of gamma. Varying the amount of gamma correction changes not only the brightness, but also the ratios of red to green to blue.

Because this function works directly on the original imagecancel will have no effect.

Target Platforms: Windows 7, Windows Vista SP1 or later, Windows XP SP3, Windows Server 2008 (Server Core not supported), Windows Server 2008 R2 (Server Core supported with SP1 or later), Windows Server 2003 SP2
